4th of July

Looking for a traditional 4th of July celebration? Head over to Beach Haven on July 4th for their annual parade and fireworks display. Parade activities are an all day event along Long Beach Blvd. Make sure you snag your spot for fireworks that evening. The show starts at about 8:30pm at Taylor Avenue Park.

July 7 – Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts & Science 70th Birthday Bash 6:30pm-11pm $150/person in Long Beach Township.

July 8 – Annual Taste of the Island Porch Party at the LBI Historical Museum 6pm-8pm in Beach Haven.

July 11 – Barnegat Bay Day – A free for adults and children who want to learn more about the bay 12:30pm-3:30pm in Long Beach Township.

July 12 – The Kiwanis sponsors the Ship Bottom Flea Market at 10th & Shore Avenue 8am-3pm

July 15 – South End Surf & Paddle SUP Fun Race – 5pm-9pm – for all abilities – register at southendpaddle.com

July 15 – Harvey Cedars Art Festival – a free event 10am-4pm, this is the 31st annual festival held in Sunset park.

July 17 – Ship Bottom Sidewalk Sale – business around town collectively hold sidewalk sales all day.

July 18 – Sailor for a Day CAMP – New Jersey Maritime Museum 9am-4pm in Beach Haven. $70 w/discounts for siblings.

July 22 – 2018 LBIF Annual Fine Arts Festival curated by The MakeShift Union 10am-5pm – $5 fee to visit local artists, live music, and food vendors.

July 29 – 19th Annual Classic Car Show – located at Waterfront Park from 8am-3pm and run by the Vintage Auto Museum of New Jersey
